There was much speculation about the possible election of Nigerian Cardinal Franics Arinze as Pope, making him the first black Pope. Instead, however, European German Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger was elected, rather than the Nigerian prelate. Could that explain the email I got today?
Shouldn't there be some kind of investigation about this? Well, at least the new Pope's got email. Really, if it had been the Nigerian cardinal instead, would he have been able to get any recipients to take them seriously? Saturday, April 02, 2005
